Our Services

The Ballymena Area Children’s Contact Service, has its admin office at Broughshane House, 70 Main Street, Broughshane BT42 4JW. We have two children’s contact centres

Ballymena
which is open on Saturday morning 10.00am – 12noon and takes place at Ballymena Methodist Church, Ballymoney Road, Balllymena.

Antrim
Is open on Saturday morning 11.00am – 1.00pm and takes place at All Saint’s Parish Hall, Railway Street, Antrim

In November 2017 our Larne Centre was taken over by Carrickfergus Children’s Contact Centre. This move allowed us to open the Antrim Centre on a weekly basis. It is hoped that Larne will also provide a weekly service in the new year. If you wish further details about the Larne Contact Centre you can go to Carrick’s website at www.carrickccc.co.uk.

We receive core funding from the Northern Health and Social Care Trust to partially cover our costs, but additional funding is needed to continue and hopefully expand our work.

BACCS is a member of the Northern Ireland Network of Child Contact Centres (www.childcontactcentres.org) which supports all of those who work in similar organisations and charities. The Network is currently hoping to more fully publicise the service that all Contact Centres provide to children in Northern Ireland and to encourage their use by families and volunteers.
